Privacy notice
Who we are. Harbourfirst [Ltd, company no. ●, registered office ●] ("we") connects directors of UK companies showing signs of financial difficulty with regulated professional advisers. Contact: [email] · [address].
Where we got your details
We work only from lawful sources: public registers — principally The Gazette and Companies House — and, where applicable, licensed commercial data providers or a professional adviser who referred you with your consent. We tell you the specific source in our first message to you.
What we hold and why
- What: your name and role as a company officer, your company's public filings and court notices, and business contact details.
- Why: to offer your company an introduction to a regulated adviser. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Our legitimate interests assessment is documented and available on request.
Who receives it
Only a regulated firm you have agreed to be introduced to. We do not sell data, and we do not share your details with anyone else except service providers under contract or where law requires.
How long we keep it
[Retention: e.g. 12 months from last interaction, or immediately upon objection.] If a petition against your company is dismissed or withdrawn, we close and cease using the record.
Your rights
You may object at any time — one email to [email] and we stop contacting you and suppress your details. You also have rights of access, rectification and erasure, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We are registered with the ICO [reg. no. ●].
